Cin7 Core EOQ
Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR Systems) implements reorder logic as Min/Max per location on the SKU record. There is no native EOQ solver. The buyer computes Q* externally and sets Min = ROP and Max = ROP + Q*; Cin7’s Reorder Suggestions report then proposes a PO line for the difference each time on-hand crosses Min.
Where the reorder fields live
- Inventory > Products > (SKU) > Stock Tab > per location row. Min Before Reorder, Reorder Quantity, Max Stock.
- Reports > Inventory > Reorder Suggestions. Lists SKUs at or below Min with the suggested PO quantity (Max minus on-hand minus on-order).
- No carrying-cost percentage field; you can’t store H or S inside Cin7 against the SKU.
The right way to wire EOQ in
Build a Q* worksheet outside Cin7 (CSV or the bulk template here). For each SKU, compute Q* and ROP, then bulk-update via Cin7’s SKU import. Re-run quarterly: a 3-point swing in your carrying-cost percentage moves Q* by about 6 to 7 percent, so a quarterly refresh sits inside the flat-near-Q* region for most goods.

Standard entry tier sits at $349 per month in mid-2026 (5 users, 6,000 annual sales orders). Pro is $599 per month (10 users, 24,000 orders), Advanced is $999 per month (15 users, 120,000 orders); Cin7 Omni remains quote-only for enterprise.
