Zoho Inventory EOQ
Zoho Inventory stops at Reorder Point. There’s a single field on each item that triggers a low-stock alert; there is no Order Up To Level, no Min/Max pair, and no native Wilson Q* solver. The buyer’s workflow is: set Reorder Point on the item, watch the alert, then create the PO with an externally-computed Q* as the line quantity.
Where the field is
- Items > (Item) > Reorder Point. Single integer, no per-warehouse split on lower tiers (Professional and above adds per-warehouse).
- Reports > Inventory > Reorder List. Items at or below ROP with on-hand snapshot.
- No carrying-cost / ordering-cost fields at all; H and S live in your worksheet, not in Zoho.
The smallest viable EOQ workflow on Zoho
Maintain a one-row-per-SKU worksheet with D, S, H, Q*, and ROP. Set Zoho Reorder Point to ROP. When the alert fires, create the PO with Q* as the quantity. Re-run the worksheet quarterly. For the Standard plan’s 500-orders-per-month cap, this works cleanly; at Professional and above, the API exposes the item record so you can push Q* updates from a scheduled job rather than the CSV import.
Pricing reality
Free plan with 50 orders per month, 1 user, 2 locations. Cheapest paid plan is Standard at £25 per month (about $31) for 500 orders and 2 users. Tier lineup stable through 2026: Standard £25, Professional £65, Premium £105, Enterprise £199 per month on annual billing. Caps unchanged; remains one of the few freemium SKUs with a real free tier.
